SoccerBoards FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions & Help

Welcome to the SoccerBoards help page. Below are answers to some common questions about posting and replying to messages on our football supporters' boards.
Can I use HTML tags in my posts?

HTML may be permitted in the main body of a message, depending on the settings of the board. HTML should not be entered into the Name, E-Mail, Subject or other fields. For normal messages, simply type your text into the message box — no HTML is required.

Why are there colons in the message when I post a follow-up?

When you reply to an existing message, the original message may be included in the Comments box with colons at the beginning of the quoted lines. This makes it easier to distinguish the previous message from your new reply.

Why didn't my post show up?

Your browser may still be displaying an older cached copy of the message board. Refresh or reload the page and your new message should appear.

How do I post a new message?

Go to your team's SoccerBoards message board and select POST MESSAGE. Enter your name, subject and message, then submit your post. Your message will then be added to the board.

How do I reply to a message?

Open the message you wish to reply to and use the Post Followup section. Enter your reply and submit it. Your response will be attached to the original discussion.

What can I discuss on SoccerBoards?

SoccerBoards is for football supporters to discuss matches, players, managers, transfers, results, club history, football programmes, books and magazines, shirts, memorabilia, tickets, collecting and general football topics.
